Last month in Hong Kong, an 18 year girl – relentlessly bullied by fellow online gamers, live-streamed herself jumping off a building to her death. She had reached out for help, but none was given. How dangerous is social media? How is it affecting YOU – your mental health, your family, your relationships, your work? What if there was a way we could change the way we understand and use technology, to better release our potential and help us live the human lives we are designed to live?
I recently discussed these issues with Michelle Mendoza, veteran broadcast journalist and host of the MyMichelle Live podcast. We talked about my latest New York Post article on the life and death consequences of social media, and I got the chance to unpack some of the amazing things I’ve learned about technology over the last five years.
